"When you believe you are something, in reality, you are nothing." The flesh is our enemy! It is dying from the moment it takes its first breath from the womb. Yet, it controls our every thought and action through seeking sinful acts. When you are drawn by the conviction of the Holy Spirit to a repentant heart, the flesh must be nailed to the cross. Humility is the manner this happens.

Compassion and service are at the heart of Jesus's ministry.  By helping others and practicing empathy, we can deepen our own spiritual practice and make a positive impact in the world. His first commands are "feed the hungry, cloth the naked, and heal the sick." Before preaching salvation, we must meet their basic needs first, then by compassion and humility, the truth of Christ is revealed.
